Abstract
In this talk, we will discuss how network routing dynamics might alter the correctness of security policy in a distributed system. We will use IPsec/VPN policy as an example, and present the challenges in constructing “secure” policy. Furthermore, we will generalize the issue and discuss how we might handle the unexpected interferences between the network layer and the security layer.
